Spiritual But Not Religious Show

A conversation with Christina Pierson, author of "A Knowing - Living with Psychic Children"

"This book is the most comprehensive presentation of psychic phenomena in children that I am aware of. Unlike anything that has come before it, this book illustrates through the words and drawings of children what the reality of a psychic child's experience is in truth. The ability to touch the child within is an extraordinary gift. Christina has it in abundance."
-John Collins, Irish Psychic and Intuitive Healer

"This fascinating and very informative book is a must-have for any parent or carer who is struggling to understand, help and support their psychic child; in fact it is an important handbook to help anyone cope in such circumstances. Living with a psychic child can be both intriguing and frightening - in equal measure - and with Christina's help and vast personal experience her book will prove to be both an essential tool and an absorbing read. I highly recommend it."

A conversation with Amlaya Victoria

Imagine going up to someone you've never met before to ask a simple question and being told where you were in your life, what was holding you back, and what issues you needed to look at. Unsettling, maybe, but knowing at a deeper level that what was said was absolutely right. That is one of Amaya's many gifts.

As a holistic healer and therapist in private practice in Los Angeles California and nationwide, Amaya has the compassion and power to connect with people and know them deeply. That's is what draws people to her workshops, lectures, and individual counselings. She helps people to release their unconscious emotions and physical blocks so that the fragmented parts of themselves can come into wholeness.

Describing herself "first and foremost as a human being who brings spirituality into the material for people to use in their lives," Amaya is down-to-earth and practical with a lively sense of humor.

Background and Gifts

Amaya, was born with highly advanced intuitive abilities. From early childhood she saw spirits and knew of coming events before they happened. Growing up in a "dysfunctional family" left its mark; it was only by working through her own denial, grief and anger around childhood issues that she has been able to accept her experiences and herself and in turn help others. She now sees her childhood as a "gift," without which she might not have searched for a deeper meaning to her life.

As a young woman she began a period of intensive self-education which led to meeting her first mentor, Evelyn Isidore, in 1986. With Evelyn's help she experienced a maturation of her abilities. She then began to channel the advanced group of spiritual beings known as "Isaiah". The first one of the group to identify himself to her was the Archangel Michael. "There is always one initiation energy that comes through first to clear the Channel," she states. This group chose the name Isaiah because,"it is a name that clears the way for the coming of the Godself...,"they are a wonderful group, very high and very exalted. But this work is not for the faint of heart. Isaiah can be very direct and will cut through the wounded ego like a hot knife through butter.

Since 1988, Amaya has worked full time as a healer, channel, teacher, advisor and counselor. She is certified in Gestalt Therapy, Rebirthing, Hypnotherapy and energy/healing body work. These range of tools, in addition to her own natural talents, help people release stored pain and come into wholeness and joy.

Amaya also uses her own inspiration and creativity while listening to the "Guides" when she performs her healing and counseling work. Using this process also helps her design powerful experiential workshops such as The Child Within, Healing the Healers, among others. These programs combine bodywork, dance, breathwork, music, meditation and Gestalt Therapy techniques; they have proven to be highly effective in clearing out stored pain from the body and replacing it with positive attitudes, greater clarity and freed up energy.

A conversation with Rene Gaudette & 'The Wonders'

Deep Trance Channeler Réné Gaudette has been on a personal journey of self-awareness, enlightenment and growth since 1987. Following a near-death experience as the result of a snowmobile accident in February, 1989, Réné realized his life was about to take a major turn as childhood memories began to resurface and he re-awakened his deep trance psychic abilities. As he later recalled, his parents had taken him, at the age of three, to see a psychiatrist because he was always "talking in his sleep." At age five, he told his father that "he wanted to go to sleep and get paid for it."

In 1990 while meditating, Réné began answering questions. Since then, he has developed his ability to remove 99.9% of his logical mind/personality/fears during his deep trance channeling sessions.

Réné Gaudette is one of the few deep trance psychics able to move into a deep trance with just one breath, making him a truly gifted trance channeler. Réné set out to channel the highest energy source willing to speak on earth. This request gave us "The Wonders".

A conversation with Ann Morrison

Humanitarian, Broadway Star and winner of the Theatre World Award,Playwright, Storyteller, Spiritual Seeker

WHILE SITTING IN A FAERIE GLEN.
Storytelling from a faerie mind.
Fairytales for those who are caregivers.

Ann Morrison is a Druid, Humanitarian, Broadway Star and winner of the Theatre World Award, Playwright, Storyteller, and Spiritual Seeker
While on a sabbatical in Scotland Annie had a powerful spiritual experience as she sat in a faerie glen in the Isle of Skye. This experience inspired Annie to write four stories. She created them for people she has been working with on their emotional healing as they battle a severe illness or syndrome.
The first story is about the magic of a little Scottish girl fighting Leukemia. The others are for a musical piano technician dealing with Aids, a free-spirited boy labeled with ADHD, and one for an elfin woman with Down Syndrome and Alzheimer’s. When Ann created the first story, she thought she had been writing it for a little Scottish girl but found in truth, it was really for the child’s mother. Thus, these are fairytales for those of us who do the care giving. The stories are enchanting, beautiful and filled with love. They are odd in the sense they are otherworldly the way the Celts are otherworldly in their storytelling.

Ann will perform any of these stories in the intimate setting of your living room. As a host, you may decide to host as a potluck, or a wine and cheese or dessert and after dinner drinks affair. It is up to you. The performance includes an evening of songs, musings of other observations of our human world using the theme of each main story.

Do tune in for an enchanted evening with Ann Morrison.

Sound fun and unusual? Call (941) 400-2036 or email: ndta_am@yahoo.com for bookings.
It is guaranteed to enchant and warm your heart.

A conversation with Debra Oakland

"Imagine this, over a 6 year period, I lost my 21 year old son, my unborn baby girl in my 8th month of pregnancy, 2 brothers to AIDS, and my father. I could have given up, felt sorry for myself, made it about me, instead I asked myself what each one of them would have wanted for me, and that was to live a life of courage, to encourage others, to have a wonderful life. Today I live in Laguna Beach, California with Cody, my awesome husband of 22 years, who walked this journey with me, lending me strength and courage every step of the way. Cody and I live such a blessed and incredible life together. I know that I have come through all of this more courageous, stronger, able to cope with life in a much more powerful way because of the lessons learned along the way.

Since the beginning of time, there have been stories of courage. We have all read many books, seen movies that inspire or encourage us to the depths of our soul, been around people who we look at with wonder because of the courageous things they have done. Sometimes it is something very simple, yet so profound that changes our day, sometimes it is more than we can wrap our minds around. Whatever it is that shakes us up and out of old negative patterns we wish to break, should be welcomed with open arms.

My name is Debra Oakland. I am all about Living in Courage. This subject fascinates me because of all the possibilities it presents. Courage means different things to different people all over the world. To navigate through this world we live in requires a certain amount of courage from each of us. I hope you will join me in this exploration by sharing your stories and experiences that have required courage in your life. Many people are looking for answers to some of life's biggest questions. Your stories can make a big difference in another persons life. I hope to see you here often.

The words Encourage, In Courage and Living In Courage have come up every morning for month's now. These words come up in my dreams, my thoughts and follow me around like a small child tugging on my pant leg wanting immediate attention. I am intrigued, interested, and very eager to explore this subject, not knowing where it will lead, but knowing in my heart it will be an incredible journey down a path of love and light."

A conversation wiith Marc DuQuette

Author of Orange Sunshine: How I Almost Survived America's Cultural Revolution.

Marc DuQuette was born in 1942 in Long Beach, California where he and his younger brother, author Lon Milo DuQuette were raised until they moved to Nebraska. Marc graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Nebraska in 1960. He served in U.S. Army Infantry, Army Reserve, and Nebraska National Guard and received an Honorable Discharge in December 1967.

During the 1960's and 1970's, he pushed life to the limits as an alcoholic outlaw biker in Costa Mesa, California, an acid-dropping, commune living hippie, and a communist political radical.

For most of 1968 he lived in the woods of Southern Oregon and subsequently became involved in various radical groups such as Vietnam Veterans Against the War, the Cuban based Venceremos Brigade, and the Maoist October League/Communist Party Marxist-Leninist, from which he was ultimately expelled for being drunk at an International Womens Day rally in San Francisco. In order to make a living to support his "lifestyle" he worked at various factory jobs and pretended to organize the workers.

In 1979 and 1980, Marc picked up two DUIs and refused to attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings at the court's request. As a result, he was sentenced to Orange County Main Jail.

On December 19, 1981 Marc hit rock bottom. He had a spiritual experience and called the Central Office of a Twelve Step Program. He attended his first meeting over 27 years ago and started working the Twelve Steps. He has maintained continuous sobriety and still attends meetings and works the steps to this day.

After becoming sober, Marc dedicated his life to helping others overcome their addictions. In 1983, he started volunteering five hours a week at the Orange County Health Care Agency – Alcoholism Services, and ultimately quit his factory job (and pretense of organizing workers) to take a two year Certification Program at the University of California, Irvine. He completed a supervised internship at the Orange Country Health Care Agency: Alcoholism, Mental Health and Drug Abuse. He has worked detox and recovery - medical model and social model - and facilitated groups as well as supervised felony drug diversion programs.

Marc continues to work with alcoholics/addicts and codependents, who also must actively attend and participate in the twelve step programs "appropriate to their needs." He does private consultations only with clients who are personally referred.

ORANGE SUNSHINE: How I Almost Survived America's Cultural Revolution, is Marc's first book and chronicles his experiences through the turbulent sixties, through his addictions and brushes with the law, and ultimately to his spiritual awakening and sense of purpose. He currently lives in Laguna Beach, California, and frequently travels to India to recharge his spiritual batteries.
